Description of Service:

Microlinks are versatile extensions in which wefts are seamlessly installed with silicone lined aluminum beads in rows to blend with the client’s natural hair. The hair may be worn in various styles. All of the client’s hair is exposed which does not qualify this as a protective style. For a healthier, more versatile microlink experience, consider using a texture that closely matches your natural texture. This style can be done on relaxed and natural clients. A consultation is REQUIRED before booking.

-Style straight or loose curls/waves

-(Silkpressing kinky or curly textured extensions requires extra time and will incur a surcharge)

-Hair is not included in price and must be purchased by texting me at 6014604221 as soon as possible.

Possible add-ons:

-Design Essentials STS- Smoothing treatment to help lengthen the time your silk press lasts, add shine, and combat humidity; reduces the amount of heat needed to style at home; lasts about 6-8 weeks (your hair will still shrink and curl, but with better texture management)

-Keratin Complex- Smoothing treatment reduces the curl, reinforces the hair’s structure, blocks humidity, and reduces frizz while leaving the hair shiny; reduces the amount of heat needed to style at home. This is a more extensive treatment process and lasts up to 5 months. Your curls will stretch and the pattern will change but should revert after 5 months. (This treatment requires several passes with the flatiron)

-Jet Black Semi/Demi

-Other Haircolor Services will be discussed during consultation.

Maintenance Recommendations:

-Microlinks can last up to 12 weeks. Regular salon maintenance is recommended every 2-3 weeks with (1) push up appointment around week 6.

-Please do not attempt to push-up or remove your microlinks.

-Please avoid excessively wearing ponytails as the ends of the wefts are sensitive and extra tension may lead to hair loss

-When shampooing at home, do not allow your microlinks to air dry. Blowout completely with a blowdryer and style using as less heat as possible

-Pin curl, flexirod, or double bun at night to preserve curls. Sleep with a satin bonnet. Always cover hair during a shower. You may ponytail hair during workouts, but do not cover with a scarf or sweat will not evaporate

-If you have natural hair and you’re wearing straight extensions, it is possible that you may experience heat damage over time. Your hair must be styled to match the extensions and this means having to always keep it straight. Natural clients---consider wearing microlinks during cooler, less humid months to preserve the style

Preparing for your service:

-Arrive at your appointment with your natural hair free of heavy product and oils. If you have just removed braids, make sure your hair has been combed out/detangled and you are prepped for a shampoo service.

-Price set is for a 2-3 bundle install. I use AHCO hair only. We will discuss the length & texture specifics during the consultation

PURCHASE YOUR HAIR BY TEXTING ME PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

You are not a candidate for this style if:

-Your hair is shorter than 4-5”

-Your hair is not in a healthy state (color damage, heat damage, over processed, severe shedding, excessive breakage)

-You are not ready for the financial responsibility of maintenance and cannot properly maintain at home

-Your lifestyle or job requires that you wear ponytails everyday

-You have natural hair that you don’t know how to maintain

-You neglect your hair for days and don’t comb/brush/style on a regular basis

-You are not comfortable wearing your own hair

If any of the above are true, please do not book a consultation. Consider choosing another style

It is best to have your consultation BEFORE my schedule drops on the 15th of the month so that you may book your service for the following month during the schedule drop.
